Contacts

Fannin County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office and not an agent of the Fannin County Sheriff's Office, the detention center, a police department, or a corrections agency. It cannot confirm custody, confirm a release, post bond, arrange a visit, or pull an official booking record or photo. Contact the office that created or holds the record.

Where to Ask for a Fannin Record

Different questions belong to different record holders. The detention center is the documented near-real-time route for county-jail custody. The sheriff's records unit handles a named book-in report and associated photo. Police departments may hold their own arrest or incident reports, while the courts hold the later case result.

For a sheriff-held booking record, use the FCSO forms and open-records page and the open-records request form. The form specifically offers BOOK-IN REPORT and PHOTOS/DVD. A request may be sent in person, by mail, email, or fax using the office details above. The form states a $20-per-hour retrieval rate with the first 15 minutes free and a three-business-day acknowledgment and cost-estimate statement. Fees can change, so ask for the current estimate before relying on a quoted amount. For county records held outside the sheriff's office, use the Fannin County open-records page.

Blue Ridge provides an official city records-request form that asks the requester to identify the department that created or maintains the record. Use that route for a Blue Ridge police report or police-held image. McCaysville's City Clerk department manages public records and transparency, but no dedicated police-record form was verified. Contact City Hall and identify the McCaysville police record sought. A county-jail book-in report or booking photo belongs with the sheriff's records unit, not automatically with either city.

The right lookup path depends on the custody or record stage:
